I got mine at Napa, 34.3mm freeze plug. It fits fairly snug, I might seal it with JB Weld just to be safe.

The Z10 plug is nice, but there are other ways to do it! (Especially if Z10 is out of stock and will take a few weeks to get)

Have fun with the project.

I just found a used valve cover, stripped it. Had a shop drill the two holes, weld the aluminum fittings and voila!

actually they are a shelf fitting from a local speed shop to me and he did a buy in to have his name put on fittings, only bad thing, to keep costs down they only offer bends up to 90* BUT they are half the cost of the aeroquip. and just as good. i have a 50 -50 mix of his fittings and aeroquip.

summit is great. i order from them all the time.
but this place, bill norris' positive performance, it is like a grocery store for fittings. it is more an automotive plumbing store than a speed shop he hee.

this is his old shop but you see what i mean:

How do you make it so the Honda symbol and the DOHC stuff comes out so clean?

A little vaseline carefully smeared on the logos, then paint.

Boostedcivic, holy crap! I'd go nuts in there! I bet they can make SS hoses any length with any fittings while you wait... *drool*

i know they have a coupling press, but i have always made all my stuff, and had a local hydraulics shop make p/s hoses.

friend powdered my vc, and he just masked it well and kinda 2 sepped it when he sprayed the silver over the black.

Just paint over them and hit them later with a di-grinder with an aluminum surface gasket cookie on it...

have any of you done this yourself or do you suggest to have a shop drill the holes and weld the fittings on?

Unless you're able to weld aluminum, let a experience welder take care of it. A local shop quoted me about 40-50 bucks to weld two fittings.
