For whatever reason, the Honda scene hasn't adopted nitrous really. I was looking for a similar thing a while ago and could only find a few people that had run decent sized shots. I gave up and went to a domestic forum and started reading there. The basics still apply, just start way smaller on shot size.

Thanks, I was looking into NOS new "nossle" direct port system. They say all you really need is just pistons, dont even need to retard the timing.

 

Alot less cylinder pressure to get the same oxygen suppliment! A regular atmoshere is 19% oxygen and 80% nitrogen, Nos is more like 30%oxygen. Nitrous dos'nt mind timing like boost but requires the proper heat range of plug.If you don't supply all the extra oxygen with fuel to burn, the oxygen will use your engine parts as fuel. I recommend tuning @11.5/1 just to be shure.

I ran 90lbs of nos through my stock D15 from 30-75HP shots. A wet shot right in the top of the DPFI system before I turbocharged it. Still runs good.

what do you mean by tuning 11.5/1? Also, ho were you piston, rings, and walls after the bottles?
