Explain please? I haven't had a chance to install the IAT sensor yet, so it's just hanging. Would that make the greddy kit run richer, and why?

im thinking my car. mine is on the IM from factory. once the engine is warm the manifold soaks heat and causes the sensor to read false temperatures. some people move it to the piping to get more accurate readings. colder air=higher density=more fuel. greddy kits run rich so more fuel would be bad.
