Default I Love junkyards

i just picked up a Audi fmic and a couple of resistor boxes for 45 bucks!! its still got the k26 turbo (size of a 14b) in it and it does spool freely so i'll be back for that. if anyone needs a resistor box feel free to hit me up. heres some pics!

Nice find, I found my resistor box at a local junkyard for $1.50.

I used an audi ic on my very first turbo kit back in the day. I made custom end tanks for it.

Yeah, next time don't be so happy at the front counter of the junkyard. You thinking you're getting a bargain and the owner knowing he's ripping you off for $30. Maybe $10 for the intercooler and $3 a piece for the boxes around here.

The junk yards have been so well picked over around here it's not even funny. One place (u-fix-it-honda) has about every part you'd ever need but they will rip you a new one. They wanted $65 for a resistor pack (I laughed when he told me that). Average b18c swap runs about $4,200 with 50-80k miles.
The other one is your typical junkyard. $17 for turbo's and superchargers...complete engines $100 or so...etc...you just have to pull the part yourself.
Most of the other JY sell turbo's/sc for about $200 LOL thats why their shelfs are filled up
