Ya i have the worst ******* luck ever. finally thought i got everything running. go to the start the car, vacuum leak coming from the dsm injectors; fine. open the fuel rail, and i find out the nut/bolt in the middle is snapped. i decide i can just use the other 2 for now. i discover one of the plastic washers on the manifold is missing. this is at like 7:30 pm on labor day. i figure no shop is gonna be open right now so i go to put the rail back on. the nut under the fpr, just snaps!!!! now i ******* have one bolt holding down the ******* rail, thus, making the car undrivable again!!!!!!!!!! this after a ******* week of my car sitting cuz i needed misc. stuff. now i dont have any money till friday to buy a new intake manifold. what can i do in the meantime to drive my car?? zip ties? also, are those studs on the intake manifold fixable, or would i be better off buying a new intake manifold (trying to save as much money as possible). thanks.

 

remove the intake manifold for workin....drill & tap and use grd 8 bolts...
