my GSR threw out a code that was 23 and it says knock sensor so i dont know wuts going on...how can i get the check engine light to go off im using bosch plugs im boostin 6 and my fuel pump is inline MSD,and my ignition is not retarded or advacned so wut should i do

 

check your code again, maybe you miscounted the beeps. Im not insulting your knowledge, but long beep = 10, short =1. Now, double check the code to see what's causing that annoying light. To clear the light, reset the ECU by either pulling the fuse labeled "Backup" in the engine bay fusebox or by disconnecting the negative battery terminal. The best thing to do is backtrack. What was the last thing you did before the Check Engine light started coming on? If this happened all of a sudden and the code is a 23 knock sensor code then you just need to get a new sensor, get a hold of a buddy with the same engine as yours and ask to borrow his, if the code goes away when using his then you know all you need is a new sensor. good luck

 

before it was my 02 sesnor primary but i fixed dat then after 5 mins the light came on and it gave me 23 ..am i detonating or seomting???

 

What is the code for the 02 sensor primary? Recheck your code and 02 sensor, maybe the harness came loose??? If you are detonating you will hear a PINGING noise. If you EVER hear this, immediately let off the gas! The knock sensor code does deal with detonation though. Does the check engine light come on as soon as you start your car and stay on all the time? How exactly did you fix your 02 sensor problem?

 

the code for 02 sensor primary is 1 and then i put the harness in and rested the computer and everyting and it was off when i was dirving then 5 mins later it came on and then it threw me a code 23 and yes when i turn on the car the check lgiht its there in idle mode in park...so is it my ingition do i have to retard or advance anything or get ngk plugs??
