Everyone seems so worried about balancing... Check it out:

The shaft and turbine wheel assy are balanced together (why you usually see the "bolt" ground for balancing), the wheel is balanced seperately by itself (which is why the comp whel will more than likly have material removed from it).

So, as both pieces are balanced individually, you dont NEED to rebalance ****... Unless you F ed something up. You could do it for ***** and giggles I guess... But if the tubine/ shaft assy and the comp wheel is unscathed... BOLT THAT ISH UP AND BEAT IT!

Default Turbo charger rebuild and balancing

Hey,

Anyone know where I can get my turbocharger balanced? I rebuilt my T3 with a new service kit and want to have the cartridge VSR balanced before installing it on the car.

I know there is a shop in Essex County, NJ called Scroll Products, anyone have experience with their work? They should have a balancer for this right?

Here is the contact info for Scroll, anyone heard of them?
