Default how to prevent intercooler dings and dents???

how do u all keep it safe ? i know a mesh grill but that will only keep larger things away from hittin it.

I don't think there is any safe way without restricting flow. Just do like everyone else. Every wash or so get a toothpick, pick out the bugs, and straighten out the fins.

^^ thats what i do, sit there with a snapple in my left... and pick away the bugs with a toothpick on my right and eat em... hahaha jp

A hair comb works good for radiators, i don't see why it wouldn't work for intercoolers tool.

if you goto an air conditioning supply store they should sell, these special brushes with interchangable heads for various sized fins. Usually used for the AC condenser coils, it works good for intercoolers too!

to keep dings and dents from rocks and debre I use a mesh over the front of my opening. it's alloy mesh I for from home depot and it's about $8 for a 4x8 sheet of it. it's in the drywall section.
