Mobil 1 suck... I race into formula ford 1600 and on my acquisition data the pressure drop as low as 30 psi at full throttle....( on the data we see all what happend in all my laps ) Castrol Syntec showed us a nice 50 psi and the non syntec too .... the fact is that the Mobil 1 is too much liquid when hot... its your choice... the Mobil 1 quarts look nice but the product is really bad ...
I change mine every 3K and use Valvoline Durablend 5W-30. I have been burning a little oil everytime I run into stop and go traffic. I am wondering if it is because of the thickness in the oil. Anybody have any opinions on this type of oil?
Not to hijack the thread, but has anyone heard of Amzoil (or something like that)?? Supossidly it is supossed to be for FI cars and you can run like 6k between oil changes.

From experience, it's snake oil. If you want to pay $6-$10 per bottle for oil, go with Redline.

So you are saying Amzoil is a no go?? I have a friend who pitches it hard (works for a ricer shop) and we were all kind of hesitant to pick up anything that comes out of there...Guess Ill stick with my good old Mobil 1 then.
