on a factory ls w/ high compression piston. what is the max amount of boost you should run

 

How much compression ? 10,11,12 to 1.

 

Umm, how much money do you want to spend first of all? Then what compression, and how long do you want to spend tuning? The higher the compression goes the more money your going to spend keeping the intake charge cool as possible, and the more time your going to need for tuning it so it doesn't grenade.

sorry it took so long to respond, works been crazy lately. Currently I got p73's on stock ls rods. Should I lower the compression say like back to stock 9.4:1 or should I go even lower like 8.5:1. My plan is to run approx 12-15psi SAFELY.

 

Your compression is low enough already. Just make sure you have enough fuel.
