I bought an HKS wastegate and the head has a crack in it right at one of the bolts. See pic



Would it be ok to use a dremel to make a gash where the crack is and then weld it back together. Obviously I would have to put a bolt in to keep the hole from warping but does anyone think this will work

 

I have the same wastegate that has been collecting dust.If you cant fix it pm me i will gladly sell you this one cheap.
