Default High-Temp flat black manifold paint?

I'm picking up an equal-length turbo manifold soon, but it looks nasty. I'd like to coat it or paint it black, for looks and underhood heat reduction as well.

What are my options for PAINT? I know I can send it to Performance Coatings or whatever, but I'd like to take care of it locally if possible.

EDIT: Here are some pics of the culprit (with the SC50 I'm getting). This thing is NASTY!

I want it to look like this when all done. Functional, yet it would also match my intercooler piping

I don't know how hot temps get on a turbo mani. but dupli-color has a 1200' F rated spray with ceramic in it. It works pretty well on other parts of the exhaust like the heat shield and header(I will be boosting soon though ) And it looks pretty good so long as you do an even coat at applying it.

Yeah, that stuff works pretty well on exhaust manifolds.. Should be ok for most daily driven setups.

doesnt work. i SANDBLASTED a manifold before i painted it with VHT 2k degree paint. how much better prep can u get than that?? wiped it down with alcohol, painted it, 2 days later, no more paint. face it, if a mani looks like crap, its gonna look worse with paint on it

Wrap the manifold, then ceramic/spray coat it with VHT 2000 degree paint..
I did it to my Downpipe and it has worked really good.

Doesn't wrap cause whatever metal it surrounds to retain moisture? = bad for daily driver. Would spraying it afterward help with this?

I would like to paint my turbo housing to keep it free from rust. I hope that the 2000F VHT paint will work...

Damn I just remember that it painted my Greedy manifold a while back and it was holding fine. I think that that paint hold really well on the cast material... not on the steel and stainless steel...

i'm using the vht too, it says only thin even coats if you want it to last.. also heat cycle it.. let it warm and cool a few times before you drive it for long periods
