your the one hitting the pipe i never knocked you or the rods so grow up, i hate that its always personnel on here i can say something bad about a product that i have seen fail then someone like you comes on here and puts me down instead of showing proof or trying to prove someone wrong i just said if he is planing on big boost i would go with a better rod its not smart to go cheep on rods when if one of them go its your hole motor,

Are you confusing Golden Eagle Mfg. with Eagle rods?

Rating on rods are stupid. Its very misleading and for someone to market rods that way that they can make so and so HP is bullshit.
There really is no HP rating that you can put on most of the rods out there. You can say that blah blah rod company will hold 700hp, then joe schmoe here blows up his 400hp turbo motor and the rods kick out the block. Next thing you know, blah blah rod company is bashed since the rods didnt hold up with only 400hp. Alot of people dont realize that theres more to the story than what parts were destroyed. If the oil squirter happen to bend during that incident, no one says that DAAYM those oil squirters cant handle over 400hp!!!

Other issues break rods and melts pistons. There's tuning, detonation, misshifting, dropped valves, poor assembly, bad machining, weak rod bolts, and many more can contribute to a destroyed motor. Can't blame rods for everything.

oh and ya If someone is willing to put those rods in a 1000hp+ motor, I'll buy them a garbage bag to put all the broken parts in to throw in the trash afterwards.

there really isn't alot of aftermarket support yet for a k24. jeff makes it seems that his H-beams rods are probably the best for a boosted K. Does anyone have proof and another alternative to his rods for a k-series?

We've done the Carrillo Pro-H for the K24s. I know there isnt alot of choices yet for the K24, but as far as the best, the Carrillo takes it. Only thing is, the price of the Pro-H. Not alot of people are willing to spend that much on a rod yet. We're looking at doing a Pro-SA Carrillo rod for the K24, but it would have to be done in large batch, not custom set to bring the price down. I would like to get that as part of our stock, but its not feasible for us to stock over $6000 of rods of 1 application. If theres a good number of you guys interested in doing it, we'll make it a production batch and I'll carry several sets.

So as far as options for the K24 from Carrillo, there is a Pro-H which are used in higher HP builds, and available with 3/8 CARR or WMC rod bolts.
FYI: what makes the Pro-H expensive are the CARR bolts, they go for about $380 just the bolts alone by themselves.

And we have the Carrillo Pro-A (lightweight) for all motor applications.

So you saw a car that had Eagles, they failed and were replaced by IB rods which held fine?

Your statement is rather silly.

So if stock motors can make 600hp at 25-30 psi, then whats big boost and why cant these rods do it and stockers can?
