Default hf vs aftermarket

I finally got my eg d16z6 running strong. It has a hf manifold and a 14b.

I am wondering about how much power could be picked up from trading my hf manifold in for an aftermarket one.

If quite a bit, which brands would you recommened.

Compared to what kind of aftermarket manifold? I'm sure a ported HF manifold will flow just as well as a log, if not better. I am guessing a tubular manifold might help your turbo spool a little better, but it's going to cost like $250 compared to a $25 HF manifold. Not sure if it would really be worth the extra money. I say just turn up the boost another 1 or 2 psi if you want a little more power.

Here are a couple places you can get flanges to mount your turbo to the manifold...

I am definantely interested in knowing if the hf will flow just as well if not better then a standard log manifold. I've got a hf mani and my car runs great

Well I doubt anybody is going to be doing any dyno comparisons between the HF and log manifolds lol...
