Help me make the call
Long story; short... I drive a 96 integra ls. Roommate works at jacksonracing, and is willing to sell me a JRSC for 1400. Car got 114,000 miles on it. After all is said and done, it'll be supercharged with a 75-100 dry shot of nos. My goal is somewhere around 275whp. I have faith in acura parts, but adding that much power must be close to the limits of oem capabilities. forged 9.2 pistons will be used, but can oem connecting rods be used. My instinct thinks not. So im thinking just some forged econo rods. Sound good?
Im new, any one drive around the agoura hills area. Which is close to Thousand Oaks, which is close to Ventura.

Not having to pay 500 bucks for connecting rods is an enticing offer. Thats 500 bucks I can put towards more motor work. I agree with you about rods and hp, but my theory is it needs to be reliable. Havnt you all heard about using stock rods and rod bolts breaking making your check engine light come on. Or them just giving up after to many races and repeated cit driving. I have no problem about buying rods, I wanted to get multipul opinions because the more you know the better
So what no one wants to answer the noobs question. I dont care, im a post *****, ill be here forever. I can talk about anything, espically right after I take some coke, or oxy. Like I am right now. Its so weird, cause everyones like oh this guys just a noob, but ive been here for a lot longer than a couple days. Im gonna try and figure out how to post my first pic of my car.
