ok so my turbo b16 civic wont start.. it instantly floods when i go to start it.. the car has been running fine and all the sudden started this.. it is tuned on crome. with an ostrich 2.0.. the fpr is working and the map sensor volt tested fine.. i cant figure it out.. cud it be a glitch in crome.. i un hooked battery and re hooked to reset and it didnt do anything... any help wud be awsome

 

recently a friend of mine had a similar problem. turns out something happend between the time it was tuned and when the problem occured, causing the car to be completly rich. it was fixed by getting rid of fuel from the map. this car was also on crome i belive.

ok so i just tried about everything.. i turned the fpr all the way down, i changed ecu's, changed ostriches, took out all the fuel in the map, and it still drowns the plugs when i turn it over.. i dont no what elso to do any one?

 

prob a problem with the fuel map. i had the same problem with my 1000cc injectors on crome. try putting stock injectors in and see what happens.

 

bump any one know wats wromg?? i cant figure it out.. cud it be a pick up in the dizzy that tells the injectors when to fire?? i have tryied 2 diff ecu's.. a different ostrich, and it still does it.. i have reset crome and tried taking all the fuel out of the settings and it still just drinches the plugs like 3 seconds after trying to start it....

turned out to be wires in the pre engine harness were ripped open and were grounding out on fire wall
