Default Head or no Head?

So i am building up my Em1 and am about to start assembling the motor. Do I drop the bottom end in the car with the head on or off. I took it out with the head off and am planning on putting the bottom end in first and then putting the upper half on afterwards. It seems to me it would be easier to connect all the **** if the head were off, but i wanted to run it past you guys first. Also the intake mani is still on the head.... I guess i could do that....take the intake mani off and put on the head on before i drop. Tell me what you think. Thanks

i relize things would be easier out of the car but when the head and intake are on and i have to install the hoses and crap behind the block and i am worried this will be difficult to do

You're not going to gain much without the head on because the majority of the connections are on the head. To make matters worst it is FAR more of a pain in the a** to try and put the intake manifold on with the head already on in the car. Just install the complete long block and trans as one and hook up the connections. There aren't many and it is fairly simple.
