I think the probs some people have with the kit are the wastegate creeping and the fmu and the exhaust manifold. I dont know from experience but just some stuff ive picked up from here.

hey GottaLude, do you know the dimensions of the Intercooler? and with your setup (Drag kit), is the intercooler easily visible from the front of the car?

The only real problem with the kit is that it the manifold is crap. The wastegate is not that bad, and it is a good kit if you are looking at making decent power on a budget. I think that they look a lot nicer then a majority of the other kits...I like the chrome piping and my fit really well..Good luck.

here's the custom drag kit that i just ordered
http://www.hondaclassifieds.co...23450
it has the tial wastegate
i know the fmu sux bit it is only temporary till the hondata comes in
and everyone has told me to get rid of the manifold
does anyone know where i can get a equal length manifold for a decent price?
let me know
it's for a t4e 60 trim turbo

I think the DRAG manifold is a great manifold. We like them so much we offer a lifetime warranty on them.

Keep in mind.. the DRAG kit or any other kits actually dont work well with the Traction control(prelude SH). either have to disable it for the system to work to its full potential.
we dont just sell the kits.. we have experience installing these as well.

Yea the SH's traction control is a bitch. We found that out when we prototyped the first DRAG Gen 2 kit for the 98+ Prelude 4-5 years ago.

do you speak from experience or out of your ***?

i use to hear crap like that. with the kit on.. boosting for 2 years now... no boost spikes here. you can use a boost controller to prevent boost spikes, which are usually caused from the deltagate.

I am about to purchase the drag 4 kit, and from what I see here from this thread it looks like it a pretty good buy. Does anyone have any dyno numbers?

I have been promised the Drag 4 manifolds have been redesigned to flow better and eliminate any boost creep. I have a personal interest in this but have not confirmed it.

The only problem is smog; DRAG is not smog legal. Other than that it's a great kit.

I have a drag 3 on my GS-R...got 232 whp and 175 lbs of torque at 8lbs of boost...but got rid of the inline pump and fmu that came with the kit...went Hondata with DSM450's and walbro intank pump...

Happy boosting!!!
