you can safely run about 8 pounds on stock internals in an h23. As far as a HP increase, it depends on tons of different shit. Most importantly, what turbo your making that 8 pounds with.

Re: h23 turbo question (pray2dalude)

Well if you would have found something, it would have been useless anyways because rating a motor by psi of an unknown turbo is pointless. Your better off writing a bunch of numbers on a pad, closing your eyes, and pointing for you answer. It is much better to be thinking about hp/ torque when trying to judge the limits of any motor.

Keep in mind that 10 psi on a t25 is not the same as 10 psi on a t3/t4... so it would be good to reference a sizing of turbo when you talk about boost pressure in any context.

Next you get into the gray area of rating a motors limits, as it varies quite a bit. Tuning and quality fuel management being the big thing that makes or breaks a setup imo (given everything else is up to par... turbo setup, fuel supply, etc). Your basically only going to get a general consensus/ opinion on what the limit is, not definative #'s... so be aware of that and dont invest to heavily in that number being gospel.

I dont know about h23's limits and do not care to speculate because it would be a total blind guess. But hopefully this will help you restructure your question a little and thus you can pose a better question, resulting in a better answers from people with more h23 experience. https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emthup.gif
