Better t25 18psi 300hp than t3t4 10psi 300hp?

I think the small hot side will cause your torque to fall off way earlier. Something like a 50 trim t3 would probably work allot better. H’s have pretty good power out of boost so a little delay in boost coming on won’t hurt anything and a 50 trim would still have pretty quick throttle response.

T25 is way too small for an H.

I have a 57 trim china turbo with a .63 backhousing on the stock F22B2 in my daily and I'm seeing 9-10 psi by 2800rpm. 5-6psi by 2400rpm or so. The car is immediately responsive with basically no lag. I can't see why you would need something smaller and have power off idle. Having torque super low in the rev range is hard on connecting rods anyway. The most I would probably do would be step down to a .48 AR backhousing and that would probably improve spool by another few hundred rpm but it's really not necessary at all. This setup does not have an intercooler and I am using a treadstone manifold which is a fairly good designed log manifold so YMMV.

The same turbo on my built 2.3L F20B in my other car was an absolute tire destroyer that lit off immediately when you hit the pedal at any rpm and would carry to redline without issue.

Just some of my experience for you to consider.

thanks! I had never thought spool faster = +end torque, so this is a big problem stock rods, thanks!
