I've been running the Mahle pistons in my H22 for over a year now on 8psi. I've certainly bashed on it a whole lot. It runs perfectly fine. From my very own personal experience, I find absolutley nothing wrong with these pistons. I didnt even hone my block, I just made sure everything was perfectly clean in there, and dropped them right in. I have a post in that Mahle thread above stating my setup I think, its been a very long time since I've looked at it. Mahle gets a thumbs up from me.

I believe this is actually the procedure as per Honda service manual (or was it a service bulletin?) for all the FRM sleeved Honda blocks. S2000, Prelude and NSX's blocks for those who didn't know.

I spoke to a local guy about his swap and he did the same thing, no hone, just dropped them in... i was under the impression that they required a hone which is what brought it up, i asked him where he got his hone and he mentioned he went without it
