Default greddy type-s

i know the greddy type-s has been discontinued by the company, but i've run across a greddy type-s kit for a mr2. it's still the same bov right? is the only difference the hardware? i just want to make sure the the actual bov itself is the same as the universal. thanks in advance

how are the knock offs on ebay, are they any good? i have an rs, but i just want to try an s. just sucks that they aren't easily available now
