Default GReddy e-manage updates?

It's been a couple of months since I've heard anything about the GReddy e-manage... any word/development anyone? I'm just about to buy the AEM EMS--just wanted to see what the devil's advocate might say...

GReddy tech support tells me that the e-manage was designed to run on low-impedance (peak & hold) injectors, so that'll save me the cost of getting the resistor pack. ~$650 for the e-manage, ~$1300 for the AEM EMS... it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out there's a lot of money to be saved!

Tuners anywhere? Easy to splice? Worth the money?

OK, I'm not a huge fan of the E-manage. I have had it in my car for about 1 month it's not completly tuned b/c I only have so much cash for dyno tuning on a product NO ONE has tuned. I think I remember the guy saying that you can only go 30 percent over stock on the injectors. . .We figured it out to be like 440cc for my Civic Si. Go with the EMS. . .Far more tunable, unless you have someone that wil REALLY hook you up with the tuning. Good luck!

BTW I think I only paid like $400 for the E-Manage w/optional injector harness and ignition harness from Titan Motorsports. Oh yeah and beware of all the rewiring that has to be done, my passenger side kick-panel can't close cuz all the wires and my E-Manage is currently in my glove box. GHETTO!!!

Wow.

I simply had no idea that it would be such a pain to use the e-manage. Props to GReddy's advertising team then--they really did have me convinced!

Zdyne--works best for track cars or OBD-0 cars.

I'll be going w/ the AEM EMS then... thanks guys!

plus the fact that you can only get it tuned by authorized dealers is BS. Some of us tune our own cars or would like to!

From what I understand the fuel maps for the EMS arent much easier to tune, it's just easier to install. The EMS tuning possibilities seem pretty limitless so I think you will be pleased.
