Default Greddy blue box question...

note: im a newbie, and i have a d16y8
so i did a search and this is what i came up with.... if i use a blue box then i dont have to use a fmu, its ok for a stock motor (injectors) if i keep it between 7-8psi... my questions is that if i piece together my own kit, can i still use the blue box? TIA

the blue box is actually made to run on 5lbs,yes you can use the blue box for make your own kit all it does is let the map sensor accept boost,i say junk the blue box and buy hondata, if you got the money

I'm running the blue box on stock fuel pump/injectors on my Y8, with a 2 degree timing retard. It's running fine, but I wouldn't run more than 7-8 psi without upgrading your fuel pump.

Im running 10psi all day for over a year w/blue box and have no issues at all and I have a wide band to make sure its ok. Also 255 walboro
I just cant run a missing link to turn it up more due to the blue box wont accept the link

I was refering to using a missing link to go beyond 10psi w/blue box but the link and blue box dont jive with hiding the MAP.. My stock map throws a code when I turn it up beyond 10psi.. Other than that I have no issues with the blue box. So far so good..

Alright, well let's flip the script. Here's something you can help me with.

How'd that GSR fuel pump install go?
