Got the prelude started after the install, but have a problem....
Well, we got the car to start, so we fixed the initial problem from this thread:
https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=438594
However, we cant get the prelude to idle. I tried adjusting every single idle map on the EMS, and then decided to hook up the stock ECU, still no dice...
So its something with the car and not the EMS....
Im thinking its either the IAC or the TPS sensor...
The IAC gets voltage, and i believe the tps is too because i could set the calibration for it under the EMS software.
HOWEVER, when we give it 5% throttle to make it idle, and when we take off the IAC, the car dies (like i think its suppose to), however when we unplug the TPS Sensor, it does nothing (thought it was suppose to make the idle go crazy) w/ the TPS sensor UNPLUGED, w/ the stock ECU, it idled by itself,
Go figure
Can anyone give me insight, Im getting pissed

What was the inital problem that you fixed? The AICV does nothing for idle so dont worry about that. It only regulated the cars rev speed upon warmup until you reach normal operating temperature.. The TPS however will affect idle.
Sounds like a wiring or vacumn issue, or something else with the TPS that you are missing..

Mase and I took off the IAC valve, and let it have a slight vac leak (like losened the bolts), and it will idle steady now.....I think the IAC valve is shut or something....we are gonna try to clean it out....
Are the map sensor and tps connectors swapped?
They're the same style connector and it is very common to switch them.
The symptoms sound the same.
