Hi I am wondering if a fully built ls turbo will pass emissions with the new law in colorado. It is an obdo swap that is in my crx. Does anyone know how strict they are?

 

You would probably be better off posting this in the regional forums or on one of your local automotive forums.

IDK how strict they are but I'd imagine as long as you aren't running really rich and have a good working cat you'll be good to go.

 

With a good cat you'll pass.

 

x2. Where I live we dont have emissions...but in Portland they do. My buddy passed with a stroked, bored gt35r type r in his hatch. Had a great cat that could be unbolted after testing. Reallly depends on strictness as already stated

 

I just passed emissions about two months ago in Colorado with my LS turbo and a stock Integra cat. Also, I passed even with my OBD1 ecu in an OBD2 car.

Also if I am going to be doing an ls vtec, will I need any special parts for emissions.
