Default FORGED PISTONS

Just kinda courious on some different point of views, currently have a set of JE 84mm pistons in my sleeved block but because of tuning or something number 4 piston chipped off, melted right on the outer edge of the intake side of the piston, detnation POOR TUNNING now i have to rebuild and I was thinking about swithching to a different piston brand name not saying that JE pistons were my problem or anything.
I currently have 9:0:1 comp. Pistons is that ok for turbo would it be bad to lower it to 8:5:1..

wieseco, CP, Aries, JE all make excellent pistons........you should have your setup tuned properly and you wont have a problem next time.
