Default forced inducted Ls/Vtec

Ok, my friend has a hatch with Ls/Vtec. Quick car, but I want quicker. He has stock head and block, but I have the p73 ecu with Skunk2 mani, which will make my car a bit quicker. Is it possible to turbocharge an ls/vtec engine with out any damage. Whats the best setup up for this? Anything needed to be done with head? I know I need some forged internals for block, but what about head? Any opinions? I'd like everyones 2 cents....

You need to do some research before you blow your friends motor up. Yes you can turbocharge an LS/Vtec withouth doing damage, no you don't need to buy forged internals, and you won't need to do anything to the head.
