Default First turbo complete!!!!!!!!!!!

I have been searching on H-T since I became a member to get a turbo and what would be the setup that fits me the best. Alot of Members have helped me with this process taking me from a 14b turbo and running the Hack to a turbonetics T3/t4 and Uberdata. I am so glad to have it done now and Love it so much. It is my new best friend. This is my new setup.

93 civic CX
B18b (stock internals)
Uberdata 1.7 for now
DSM 450 injectors
BMC Race log manifold
Turbonetics T3/T4 50 trim .48 A/R
Tial 38MM Wastegate
Turbo XS RFL BOV (yeah I'm a ricer) But it's not loud like everyone says it is.
2-1/2" downpipe
3" exhaust
JRC IC 6"
2-1/2" IC piping
Zeitronix Wideband with display
Fast turbo Stainless oil lines
Apexi turbo timer
autometer gauges

I love it but I need seal for the wastegate so it's sealed when closed, I only get 5PSI right now with the 7psi spring since that is missing and lag. I am using hoosier auto-X slicks right now 15" that my friend gave me since there not good enough for the track anymore and I blow 1st and 2nd off, but work better than steelies. I have to wait till I order my new avs100's or parada spec 2's. I have 24.5" slicks for the track. I am ordering my seal for the Tial monday since the guy said he sent me the seal for it last thursday from 2 hrs away and it's still not here. Once I get that I will up the boost to 12psi and see how it is after the new tune. But at 5psi I think it feels better than my 75shot of NX. I can't wait to hit the track to see my new times.

Big thanks to all that have helped. It wouldn't be done without ya.

I still have to get my vaccum manifold and paint the IC piping

And can someone tell me how to host pics without the link? I heard take off the JPG but I did and it still does it. Do I do it when I load the pics to my computer or when I load them to the site? Thanks

Thanks

I will be running 12psi at the track and spring rate 7psi around town.

EDIT: sorry I thought you was talking about turbo PSI but I think your talking about slick PSI. I have no idea what PSI I haven't used them yet so I'll just have to test and play around with it to see what works for me.

They don't drive to bad there not loud. They are a pain in the *** to turn though. Even from like 20MPH. I really have to heat them up to get them to hook worth anything of course. If they are preheated then they will hook up half way in 2nd gear. I love them and there freebies which makes it even better. They are DOT legal but I'm sure when/if I get pulled over the cops will still Bitch about them. I'm running around 18psi around town with them. I can always drop it if and when needed but I don't feel like running that low all the time. Here is a link of what they kinda look like. I think the ones I have are older style but not sure. Mine have 2 small lines also but are on the inside of the tire.

Ohhh WARNING do not drive with these in the rain LOL trust me

yea stock axles...i was terrified that i may break something. They sure do feel incredible on the launch. To give you an idea last night on street tires I launched at 4k and feathered the clutch and still spund all the way through 1st and 2nd. Once i put the slicks on i launched at 6k with a 2 step that was allowing me to build 6psi in neutral and i straight up dropped the clutch...it hooked like a damn rocket ship. I was very suprised..too bad i felt like they were killing my top end though and one of them went flat while i was going down the track

^^^ Yeah same here stock axles and I haven't used the 24" slicks yet saving it for the track. **** I haven't even launched with the DOT slicks. I just have been doing low speed roll ons. This week I'll give it a try though but I have to order a set of axles cause I can hear mine crackling and **** while turning.

Thank god for lifetime warranty

I got it from "Fullthrottle" on STLSR.com I believe he is a member here also but I don't no his ID name. He had it on his hatch for like a month and then sold the car without the turbo setup. I just bought the turbo from him but he sold the IC and Wastegate to his friend but he ended up selling me those also.

Wastegate and IC for $200

Turbo polished for $400 Everything looked really good and it had no play at all, so I jumped on it.

I spent around $1500 for the turbo setup and $475 for engine management..
Zeitronix wideband with display and Moates Uberdata kit and Burn1 burner.

I couldn't be happier!!

About the slicks I have H&R springs on there the 2 1/2" drop I believe well the biggest drop they offer anyways it's 2 something "s. The jack is still under the car otherwise I touch fenders. I'm getting spacers when I use those at the track.

My friend has a delsol "who I bought them from" and they fit fine but he has a 1 something inch drop.

Thought I'd let the info on that out about fitment issues.
