I finally managed to blow my motor, after a year and a month of boostin. And no, it was not because of Jeff Evan's tune...

I hydrolocked that ****!!

It's alright, I have an LS motor lined up, and another tuning appointment, and a buyer for my current motor.

I know it is going out on a limb, but what do you guys think the chances are of my valves/head being ruined? There is a hole in the block from the #1 rod.......

hey...any chance the turbo got f'ed up? the car was only running for less than 10 minutes, and i wasnt boostin, so it couldnt have been that hot, right?

i surrre hope its not messed up.....

im pretty sure it is...friend hydrolocked his motor through the turbo and pretty much everything was f'ed up

congrats on ******* up your second motor. i really hope u didnt expletive your turbo up or i will feel bad for you. dont throw the block out yet i wanna come look at it.

so how would some water mess it up?

i doubt it went in when it was spinning that fast.....i was deff. not boostin....

or maybe i was...i tried to flyyyyy accross the puddle hahaha

blowing your motor isn't fun, its jsut a milestone... so in a sense it makes you sorta happy.

i thought the azenis would flyyyy over the water if i gassed it...i guessed wrong haha

 

yeah i love my azenis in the seattle rain too. LOL i swear i go slower than semi's. i guess i gotta roll like they do if imma push turbo's like them. lol

how do I know if the turbo is ruined? The blades look perfect still, no shaft play, and spins fine.....so is it alright?
