Ferrea Valves for type r head
Hey guys, I've searched and didnt find a good answer on what i need to know. I recently bought some ferrea 6000 series valves and wondering if it could hold up to about 360 hp. Or is it better to go ahead and get the ferrea competition plus valves? I currently have black nitride coated valves on my gsr head, but upgrading to a type r head. Any info would be very appreciated. Thanks
the stock valves will hold up to the power you want to make.
also i would like to add that anything ferrea makes is top qualitly stuff....so you wont have any problems with them.

Valves are not a part that break when you make a lot of power. They are a part that break when you use a cam with a crazy ramp profile, 400 lb springs or rev to 9k RPM. Like someone said above, the stock valves do just fine in most situations.
If you have a set already, you might as well use them, but don't waste money on another set.
