F22 with Treadstone Turbo Kit
I finally collected my Accord today after all these months without her six in total and am well pleased with the results.
Boost is set at 6psi whilst the new engine gets run in. The boost comes on early and feels strong up to 3000 ish rpm and then the boost really kicks in and all hell breaks loose https://honda-tech.com/forums/images...es/emsmile.gif 197 bhp at 5191 rpm https://honda-tech.com/forums/images...es/emsmile.gif 218lbft at 4100 rpm https://honda-tech.com/forums/images...es/emsmile.gif Stock Figures 148 bhp at 5600 rpm 148lbft at 4600 rpm Spec: Wiseco 8.8:1 Forged Pistons CAT Power Super H Beam Forged Rods ARP Headstuds Turbonetics T3/T4 Turbo V trim stage 2 .48 51 Lbs/min Turbonetics Evolution wastegate Turbonetics Raptor BOV Pipercross Venom Induction Treadstone cast manifold Treadstone TR8 intercooler Treadstone 2.5" Polished aluminum pipe kit Custom 2.5 inch stainless downpipe kit Treadstone complete oil kit HRC Racing 255lph Uprated Fuel Pump Fuel Pressure Regulator AEM Tru Boost Contoller Apexi Turbo Timer 359cc Saab Injectors Dastek Unichip w boost module & Vtec driver Magnecor KV85 Leads Iridium Spark Plugs Spoon Sports Reservoir covers Longlife Custom Cat Back S/S Exhaust Topgear Sports Cat 200 Cell High Gloss Candy Blue Valve Cover Air Con Removed Handling Exedy Stage 2 Cerametallic Clutch (waiting to be fitted) Fidanza Aluminium 8lb Flywheel (waiting to be fitted) Black Diamond Grooved and Drilled Discs Bilstein B14 PSS Coilover Suspension Kit Cusco front & Rear Strut Braces 18” 941 Spec Ultralite Anthracite Alloys 215/35/18 Falken 452 Tyres Exterior Debadged Tints Clear Side Repeaters Custom Front Grill Smoked 50/50 Rear Lights Colour Coded Handles, Bumpers, Door Strips Interior Black Carrelli Reclining Racing Seats Lockwood White Dials Tenzo R Tracer Steering Wheel with Snap Off Hub Richbrook ‘Touring’ Gear Knob Sparco Pedals Alpine Head Unit JBL Components The engine rebuild and turbo conversion was carried out by Hedley @ Millways so a big thanks to you. Re: F22 with Treadstone Turbo Kit (UK Accord)
Nice car and congrats on the setup. Cant wait to see what it does on high boost with some race gas!
Any pics of the rear of the car? |
Looks good.
What are your hp goals? |
Re: F22 with Treadstone Turbo Kit (95accordLX-T)
HP Goals are around 230 - 240 at around 9si which I think are the limits to the fuel management and injectors!
I wanted to build a quick but reliable everyday car that I can use for trackdays. Not really interested in 1/4 mile times. Heres some more pics: http://i78.photobucket.com/alb...l.jpg http://i78.photobucket.com/alb...l.jpg http://i78.photobucket.com/alb...l.jpg http://i78.photobucket.com/alb...l.jpg http://i78.photobucket.com/alb...l.jpg http://i78.photobucket.com/alb...l.jpg http://i78.photobucket.com/alb...l.jpg http://i78.photobucket.com/alb...l.jpg http://i78.photobucket.com/alb...l.jpg http://i78.photobucket.com/alb...l.jpg http://i78.photobucket.com/alb...l.jpg |

Man if our 5th gens over here would have looked like that sales would have gone through the roof! |

Great looking car!!! https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emthup.gif
Nice buildup and numbers for 6 psi... you should have no problem reaching your goal. Have you considered other management options or is that all that you have readily available for tuners to work with there? |
Re: Re: (twkdCD595)
We have the same engine management systems as you guys do. Most popular for Hondas being either Hondata, Crome, Neptune, Motec, Autronics, AEM.
The problem being for the last three is the price. Your looking at $3000 installed and mapped http://is.rely.net/1-92-65076-l-NREc...mLFY3DaZnA.gif The problem with Hondata , Crome or Neptune is no one has ever used these systems on a EDM Accord. https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emsad.gif So i'm kinda stuck with what i'm using for the forseeable. |
Cars looking good justin https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emthup.gif
Richy does work with other systems apart from autronics so might be worth giving him a call https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emwink.gif |
Loving that avatar Adam he he
What other systems does he tune with? |
Re: (UK Accord)
I have heard him speak of hondata, power fc and can't remember the rest tbh, have a chat with him and see what he can tune for you
If you get hondata from the across the pond it works out stupidly cheap with the £ being quite strong especially compared to uk prices You will have to turn up to a meet so I can have a pass ride I may have to change the avvi tbh but I mostly read over here so cba https://honda-tech.com/forums/images...es/emsmile.gif |
