Where can I find aftermarket rods and pistons etc to build an F20b? I did a quick search, but found no results. Anyone with info?

f20b doesnt have much aftermarket support.

 

...psssss psych, the f20b has the same internals as the h22 series motor, therfore ,watever h22 parts are made, they are also f20b parts...

 

dont listen to these guys that have no clue what they are talking about, the only company that has built a set of pistons is cp if you call them they can make you a set they have all the paper work on them but they cost you 1300 cause they are considered custom. and i think it is carillo that makes a rod for them but once again it is custom and expensive. it might be pauter that makes it. but give them a call.

 

hey iv been looking into this for my blue top rebuild,h22 parts should all in theory swap over but then the fun begins,f20b bluetop is supposedly a 85 mm bore but all after market pistons iv been finding are 87.5mm which is a looooong way to be boring it owt. the only things on the f20 motor not compatable with the h22 is the valves,(h22 1mm biger inlet and exhaust) and the crank obviously.

 

sorry and the head gaskets are different coz the have different oil galleries
