exhaust suggestions needed

so I'm 2 weeks away from installing the turbo kit i've put together from scratch.. since I don't want to run an open down pipe or have anything welded straight to the down pipe, I'm wondering what exactly I should do..

My idea so far is to cut the flange from the end of the 3" down pipe, have a V-band flange welded on and the rest 3" V-band all the way back to a vibrant muffler.

what do you guys think I should put between the mullfer and down pipe? I don't want a fart can sound, but then again I don't want to kill my power with a catalytic convertor.. a deeper (throaty) sound would be nice

I'm thinking about doing this:

3" down pipe > 3" flex pipe > V-band flange > 3" mandrel bent pipe > 18" resonator > 3" mandrel side exit right before the rear tire

any opinions would be appreciated

Without a muffler? Hope not. Thats gonna get old real quick when that highway droning annoys you...
