Has anyone tried one of these on their turbo setup? Size with endtanks is 28''x11.25''x2.75''. I'm looking into one, and was just curious to see if anyone has tried it. I'm still piecing my turbo parts together, so I don't have a definitive setup yet, but hope to make 250-350 at the wheels on a d16y8 with built bottom end and mild head work.

 

I don't know if it will be a perfect fit but it should work well.

 

I was thinking it may be a little tall, but whats a turbo project without customization? Plus, they work so well in the EVOs and for the price, $260 from a private seller, that I can't go wrong.

 

i would have rather gone Johnny racecar for $240, but that is just me..

the evo8 should work, but it doens't fit as nicely!

Whats the max. height of intercoolers that people have used? The Evo IC isn't too long or too deep, just a little too high..btw, going on a 98 civic coupe

 

Isn't the Type 24 11" tall? Their dimensions are 280mm x 600mm x 76mm which equals approximately 11" x 23" x 3". correct me if i'm wrong
