Ennis SUCKS! Got dynoed instead
I called ennis this week for about the opening day event, and they said the track would be open as long as it wasnt raining. It wasnt raining so we went out there and they still canceled it. I worked all week to get my damn car ready, so we went to alamo for dyno day instead. There were about 40 vw's out there hating on the only honda there, me, and the pushed me to the back of the line. I waited almost 5 hours to get my car dynoed but it was worth it. I put down 234.7 whp and 200.99 lb/ft of torque. Is this fair numbers for a stock ls motor with a mut turbo kit I made myself. I run 9lbs, with only a 12.1 fmu, and a inline for fuel upgrades. Car runs good, does anyone know what I should be able to run in a 2100 crx, if traction is good, thanks.
Its a turbo from a rev hard stage 2 kit. Yeah, most of them were very suprised but still talked noise. The whole day I was up there all the v dub guys were complaining saying the numbers the dyno was putting out were low, But I am not complaining.

u probably had the highest #'s of the day huh? those vdub guys were prolly jealous, u r running half the boost most them do.
good #'s though. shows that an inline/fmu set up w/ the right turbo on an LS can make good simple power. the #'s look almost exactly like mine before the hondata.

yeah there were a couple of 300hp v dubs, but they were like vr6 turbo with stand alone, running like 118octance type cars. I was told by some of them I didnt stand a chance to break 200hp, I laughed and said I am not running 9lbs on a vw.
Some of them were cool though, I just wish I could have ran my car because everyone keeps telling me theres no way I could break 12s. They think its at qiuckest mid 13s, but i did a hp/time ratio thing and it equated to a 12.8 but I will never know until I run it. Kind of like everone told me you cant run 14s with a stock ls, and I hit 14.5s bone stock, oh well.

yeh someone told me I wouldn't make 200whp or break 13's before I went turbo LS. I ended up making 230/200 and running 13.39 on bfg's. its nice to prove people wrong.

how come my hp numbers are lower than everyone else's LS turbos, but i have a little bit more torque?

its cause u have a T04b and we have a T04e. the T04b's are less efficient as flow less air at the same psi. u made good torque cause u r running more boost, but ur also chocking w/ the stock exhaust.

Man, some of my best friends are VW guys... but some VW guys are like Honduh ricers, only not half as bright. You get a pretty good mix of idiots in with the good people at any event, I hope the good VW guys showed you some love.
I was running crazy high boost 15psi, but on my b16a, I made 234/180 on a cheated 2" downpipe.
I went 13.8@102.8 with 0, ZERO, I mean NOOOO traction at all and a quickly dying turbo. Your LS cars should easily be able to hit mid/low 13's on drag radials!

I am very pleased with how my ls setup is running, I think I am going to hold off on the hunt for a gsr and see how far I can take a completely stock internaled ls. I guess I will get my hondata setup soon hopefully, maybe a new intake manifold, and some good axles with slicks and see what I can do. Until then I am shooting for some very high 12s.

Hey Felix, what kind of numbers were you putting down in your hatch when you hit those 12.5s. What did your car wiegh in at also.

I have the time slip at home...my sixty foot wasn't that good..i bet i could have gone faster..torque was like 178...my numbers were crap last time i dynoed...
No they didnt shut up, they created a post calling us all high school bitches or something like that, can you believe that adam after 90 percent of them non 200hp breakin asses lookin like the came from the ski slopes. Freakin Hagenboppers. I hope they bring there mini vans up to the races wednesday for some grudge matches. i was tring to be cool to them fockers too, oh well.
yea you can race as many imports as you want, but go out and race a v8 and beat the **** out of him and people start to notice. This doesnt mean pick on mustang GTs but rather LS1's and such they actually put up a little of a fight.
