Ok so I am hearing that the emanage that comes with complete kits is set up for 5.5psi and is password protected and cant be tuned is there any truth behind this anyone know?

 

bump someone who bought kit and is running over 5.5 psi fill me in any kind of problmes at all??????

my kit came set at 7psi

 

the stock emanage tune is good for up to 8psi on the map greddy programs it with.....you can tune it , buy the support tool , then go to the yahoo emanage group download the non password protected version of your kit , then tune that.

wait so the regular emanage support tool will not work on the box that came with the kit correct?......I need to download the "non protected" support tool? What if I purchase a support tool seperate like one straight from greddy

 

it doesnt come with a support tool with the kit , you have to buy it seperatly , if you buy the support tool directly from greddy you can get a non password protected map.

Greddy wont sell it to you, unless your an authorized greddy dealer.
You can find copies of the program on the Yahoo groups.
You can find the cable for about $40.

If anything call up greddy and Tell them you bought an e-manage and you would like to know if they will send you a copy of the map that came stock with your kit and you can tune from there.

My experience with the Locked greddy maps is they run really rich, They are built to be safe. So you can actually get away with alot running them.

either way they didnt want to sell me one until they knew i was Authorized dealer

cause i herd thats the only way to get the program to tune with , cause i bought my support tool from mohdparts.com and couldnt get a map to tune....

Yea call up Greddy, they wont really release any info unless your a dealer.
I dont understand you keep saying "program" did you mean map?

We got the Map just like you had said, but Only because some people knew some people kinda deal. I honestly dont think they give that out on a normal basis.
When you buy the support tool from greddy it doesnt come with any maps.
The tuner at the last shop I worked with always had to rebuild a new map if it was locked. Just about the only way to normally get around it.....

The copies on Yahoo are simply copies, they obviously originated from Greddy.
None of it is legit, the cable's are replica's.
My copy came on a burned cd with the Serial written on it

 

ok so if I purchase the support tool, the pressure switch, the ignition ,injector and pressure switch harness I am good to go right

 

i mean mean the map.....ive read where people have purchased the support tool and greddy sent them a map that wasnt password protected....

You just missed out, I sold my entire setup this weekend.
Entire setup, all the goodies for 400$
