Default Electrical Oil Pressure Gauge Ok?

Will an electical oil pressure gauge be fine as far as quickness and accuracy for a turbocharged application compared to a mechanical one?

i have an autometer electric gauge and it responds pretty fast. I figure about a 1/2 second delay. It works fine.

my autometer works great.

I wouldn't run a mechanical. My friend had the nylon tube pull out (probably installation error ...) and the engine proceeded to dump 3+qts VERY QUICKLY.
