I was wondering what options there are for an aftermarket ecu. I will be running 12 lbs. of boost max on my 98 Type R. Is there an alternative to buying an expensive standalone such as Haltech, Speedpro, Hondata, etc. ? Maybe something that is already tuned to handle boost? Is a standalone the only option to control fuel/ignition?
