Default Dyno today (56k ok)

started with a basline of 190 WHP

came out with 224.5 WHP and 218 lbs of torque!

give a 15% drivetrain loss that = 258 HP at the flywheel.

+35 WHP from just tuning

Boo-YAH!:D

tEh cIvIc KaN nEvAh l00$3!

solid blue = WHP
dotted blue = torque
ignore the red lines all together

JDM B18C
Greddy turbo + IC
RC550 cc injectors
skunk2 cam gears
EDIT: 8psi. it spiked to 10 psi
stock internals.
2 1/2" exhaust
HKS MBC

A big thanks to Wayne at http://www.garagefive.net

also my bud with a JRSC B16 went in the same time with 180 whp and left with 210 WHP

it says 10 psi right on his post

those seems ot be low numbers for a GSR motor at 10 psi.. specially after tunning

I am also suprised to see that low of numbers. I have a turbo gsr motor and will be disappointed if I dont see close to 300whp with it. Granted our parts might be a bit different, a gsr turbo on 10psi should have higher numbers. good luck

which greddy turbo?
what size exhaust?
what fuel mgmt?

yeah, numbers seem low. especially since it is stock compression and jdm motors have slightly higher CR as well.

Nice power but you got some weeeird stuff going on up top. Why such a big drop-off? Looks like you're losing 30-40 hp for some reason.

Your headgasket is blown? Dude, thats the problem why your not making as much power as you should be. Fix that and take it back in and get it retuned. Dont drive around on a blown HG unless you want to risk cracking the head or warping it.

It sorta looks like vtec didnt turn on. Are you sure vtec is working properly? That would account for the lack of topend power.

From right around where vtec should engage until redline you only gained 10-15whp. Thats just not right.

Did you check your timing? What fmu are you running? The last time I saw a torque curve fall that fast was when my timing on my dizzy was advanced too much, it never crossed my mind til my egt was hooked up and I was hitting about 1700* @wot

Were you happy with Sean's tuning?
On Friday, me and a buddy had him tune our cars as well. I was really happy, but not as happy as my buddy. +62hp at the ground for a total of 230hp on a mini me Y7/8.

Kinetic rocks, hope you can fix your issues.

i backed up the spark and turned up the boost a tad. the car pulls like a freight train. and i had a bit of ping at the top end but now its mostly gone.

I have to say the torque is more of a handfull now

can someone critique my DATA readings?
