dyno results.
wish I had a scanner, heres the numbers.
air temp=92.5 deg F, max hp=184 max tq=165, 7psi RPM ---- Power ---- Torque ---- Air/fuel 2500----- 36.3 ---- 76.2 ---- 14.6 2600----- 47.8 ---- 96.5 ---- 14.6 2700---- 52.4 ---- 101.8 ---- 13.8 2800---- 56.0 ---- 105.1 ---- 13.6 2900---- 59.7 ---- 108.1 ---- 13.6 3000---- 59.1 ---- 103.5 ---- 13.3 3100---- 66.1 ---- 112.0 ---- 12.2 3200---- 72.5 ---- 118.9 ---- 11.2 3300---- 79.4 ---- 126.3 ---- 10.1 3400 ---- 89.8 ---- 138.7 ---- 10.0 3500 ---- 99.5 ---- 149.4 ---- 10.0 3600 ---- 104.0 ---- 151.7 ---- " 3700 ---- 103.8 ---- 147.3 ---- 10.2 3800 ---- 104.3 ---- 144.1 ---- 10.5 3900---- 106.6---- 143.6 ---- 10.2 4000 ---- 108.5 ---- 142.4 ---- 10.0 4100 ---- 111.8 ---- 143.3 ---- 10.0 4200---- 116.7---- 145.9 ---- " 4300---- 123.4---- 150.8---- 4400---- 132.9---- 158.7 4500---- 140.4---- 163.9 4600---- 144.8---- 165.3 4700---- 144.8---- 161.9 4800---- 146.6---- 160.4 4900---- 147.5---- 158.1 5000---- 147.9---- 155.3 (5500-5700)---- 172.5 6200----181.9---- 154.1---- 10.0 Looking at the graph now I see why it felt so bad after 3K. need input on these numbers, and also what ratio does the fmu come with with the kit? I definately need to do something about the fuel, and need suggestions. [Modified by quikrpm1, 9:00 PM 7/26/2001] [Modified by quikrpm1, 9:10 PM 7/26/2001] |

If you can get your plot to Kinko's they can scan it, and I'll give you a free place to host the image... [Modified by BigProbe, 7:24 AM 7/27/2001] |
Re: dyno results. (BigProbe)
13:1 is MORE DANGEROUS than 10:1.
He's running extremely rich and needs to lean out the A/F mixture a bit. |
Re: dyno results. (KJ)
<-- foot in mouth
Oh, Duh! yeah, sorry...10:1 = MORE RICH than 13:1 ..sorry, brain fart... so, what I MEANT to say is, if you can perhaps bleed the signal to your FMU, (Grager valve?) you may be able to pick up some power up top. http://images.zeroforum.com/smile/emsmile.gif |
Re: dyno results. (BigProbe)
lean your car to 12:1 you should pick up about 20hp easy.

Re: dyno results. (FAST94GSR)
lets see setup
97ls engine drag 3 kit (using everything that came with kit) 7 heat range plugs WS exhaust, no cat act clutch shitty a** tires, stock height I dont go to Kiwanis, Ive heard a lot of bad stories about there. If you are serious about getting the kit and wanna check out my setup let me know. So does anyone know what the ratio of the fmu is with the kit? Or can anyone suggest the correct ratio of fmu to use based on the readings. The guy I bought the kit from was running like 9-11 psi, so im thinking he was running with a higher fmu. I dont really have a means of leaning it out, im still using stock regulator and injectors. Any other means of leaning it out? thx for all the replies. |
Re: dyno results. (quikrpm1)
Go to an aquarium shop, and you can get a "granger valve (sp?) which would allow you to bleed some of the boost signal to the fmu. The dyno shop should know to to hook it up...shouldn't me more than aboot $10.

Re: dyno results. (BigProbe)
never heard of that, how reliable or how accurate would that be?
|
Re: dyno results. (quikrpm1)
why does it only show RPMs up to 6200, the LS revs to 6800 right?
|
Re: dyno results. (DIRep972)
Hey but look at those torque numbers
