Not everybody...there are 40 and 50 year old guys out at the street races still. When I was 17 there was a guy in his mid thirties that had an old Mazda mini truck (the kind before the were Rangers) with a 5.0 HO drivetrain, nitroused, tubbed, slicks, Ford 9", the whole 9 yards. Last time I talked to him a couple years ago he was working on something even crazier...stroked 460 I believe (for the same truck)

Im die hard in this game of modding cars now. Im not getting out anytime soon. It reminds me of back in 7th grade when i got into skating. Everyone of my friends got into skating, 9-10th grade everyone quit and started to "move on".. I never gave up on it, I liked it too much, been doin it like 7 yrs now and still love it and my friends who i used to skate w/ all wish they never quit. but oh well sometimes the car hobby thing is different cause it comes to down to money and not just love for the sport. if u lost the love for the sport then all i can say is sorry.

 

I completely understand the skating thing. I quit when I was 12 because my knee jacked up. Started again when it got better at 17. Now I'm 23 and don't plan on quitting anytime soon. Even if my skateboard was taken everyday by cops, I'd still find a way to skate.

I hope that this isn't the only reason so many people are starting to quit modding their cars. I guess it comes down to the money though. I've been broke since the first day I decided to turbo my car. I think a gun should come with every turbo.

seriously, i feel the pain in my wallet like lots of you but i love speed.

i like hondas but everyone and their momma has one lately, not to mention the crazy theft involved lately.

I love cars and no matter what i'll always be involved in one way or other, i'm sure little ol Dustin isnt going to abandon ship.
