I am in the process of wiring my DSM injectors. My engine is ODBII so the clip didn't work. I ended up salvaging my old ODB1 clip and modify the injector to fit. But now the wires (yellow/black) are on the different orientation. If you look at the pic with the honda injector and the odbII clip (on the right side in the pic), you can the yellow/black wire are the the right side. But if I crimp the wires to match the color (yellow/black) from the the ODBI clip to my injector wires. This will move the yellow/black wire onto the left side of the DSM injectors once its on (DSM injector on the left side of the pic). Does it matter where the yellow/black wires are on the DSM injectors or do I disregard the color and keep the yellow/black wires from the wiring harness to the right side of the DSM injectors.

 

Polarity shouldn't matter; they appear to work either way.

 

Yeah, polarity shouldnt matter from what i've heard. If it was me, i would keep the wiring on the 'right' side and disregard the colors.

 

A side question for a future DSM injector user, but where would the 10ohm/10 watt resistor go?
