Default Driving with no exhaust/downpipe

What are the effects of driving without the exhaust or downpipe attached to the turbo??

I don't wanna have the car towed to the exhaust shop to get one made up, so was thinking of driving to shop without one instead.

It won't be too bad, you can do it. Just remember all the exhaust gases are gonna be blasted straight inside your engine bay and could possibly melt some wires. Oh and it'll sound like a horses ***.

I did it back in the day with my old integra.

LOL. I'm more concerned with the effects on the afr without the exhaust on. Looks like I'll just have to ride the horse slowly then

If you could put just the down pipe on you would not have nearly as much **** in your engine bay. If you have nothing on the turbo then I would take the hood off and drive it that way. I drove my si 60 miles to pick up my hood, with no hood. Im not shure if its illegel or not. I think it depends on your state.
As for your A/F ratio... I dont think it should change it but exhaust gases in the intake WILL!

Its that bad huh. As I might have no choice but to change my mani, the turbo will be in a different position as a result and so the downpipe would not bolt on, which is why I need to get it to the shop so I can have the downpipe rerouted so it will meet the turbo.

I ran open O2 in my sol for the first 2 weekends. It's not bad it all. It kinda smells bad, but it's not too loud. It's actually way more fun as well than having a restrictive DP like I do
