Of course you cannot downshift with a turbo!

In fact, ever since I put the turbo on I have just left the car in 5th gear... Sometimes starting from a stop sucks in 5th gear, but you get used to it... the honking from all the cars behind you gets annoying sometimes, though.

Basically, the turbo system disables all gears fourth and below in the transmission.

Dustin, this may be a little off topic, but I've found that if I keep my handbrake up a few clicks while accelerating I can stay in boost a lot longer. In 5th gear, naturally.
