Alright, I'm trying to get my boosted D16Y8 running smoother, as it's been a bit of a bitch lately (aside from my bomb-*** ACT HDSS clutch
). Here's everything that I'll be doing:
-ARP headstuds and an OEM headgasket, using hylomar spray for sealant and the supplied ARP lube at the recommended torque setting.
-flush/refill the coolant, and replace the radiator cap and thermostat (all OEM Honda
)
-replace spark plugs with NGK BKR7E's, gapped at .030".
-replace spark plug wires with OEM Honda wires.
-replace fuel filter with OEM Honda filter.
-run Seafoam through the brake booster line and oil.
-change oil and filter (afterwards, duh).
-adjust valves to OEM specs. (.007" I / .009" E)
-retard timing 1 degree at the distributor (with a timing light, of course).
-run injector cleaner through the gas tank (probably Gumout Regane, unless there are other recommendations (i.e. Seafoam instead).
Now, what order should I do this in? Should I do the Seafoam first, then replace the headgasket and then do all the little things (coolant, fuel, plugs, oil, etc.)?
Another question: is it easy to replace the water pump when the head is off the car? If so, I'm going to be replacing that as well.
I know that there are some factors that shouldn't conflict with other ones (i.e. fuel filter, timing retard), but I just wanted to put it out there in case that info. is needed.

Yup, do the waterpump since the t-belt will be off. I'de run the cleaner through first so you can see how it looks when you pull the head off, not that you'd know what it was before but it would still be fun to see. maybe you should do the timing belt and tensioner also since your in there.
what is hylomar? I always have used copper spray with no problems...
