hey guys

i just picked up a 2001 GSR

im starting to build it up to turbo it during the winter time?

so far i have eagle rods cp pistons i just purchased a skunk2 to intake manifold.

my question is should i bother with purchasing a throttle body or is the stock gsr one capable on doing 400whp plus?

im going to be goign with a full-race turbo kit with the 60-1 turbo my goal is to be 400+ whp

just wondering if i should watse money if its not needed

nope as easy as that! T/B is really only needed when you are all motor. since you are forcing air in just make sure your piping fits right and you will be good to go.

 

o nice ya so i have the skunk 2 mani i should be all set to flow a good amount of air cuz im looking for 400 whp

 

ya i was thinking that to i might do it jsut to be on safe side
