do i need to re-tourge headstuds again?
 

when i first installed my arp's, i gradually trq'd them from 15-35-50 then drove the car and then re-did them again to 81. do i need to re-trq them again before i hit really high #'s? the car is making 350whp right now, but im gunna re-tune soon for 450-550whp do i need to do this again or should i be fine?

You should be fine if you used the ARP lube on them. I'm assuming a MLS head gasket.

I have heard of it, but not so much with a MLS gasket. Back in the old days when head gaskets were relatively compressible it was common practice to run it and re-torque, but it shouldn't be necessary with ARP studs and a MLS gasket.

after about 10 heat cycles, mine were off by about 5 ft/lbs.

i would check them, it only takes a min...

You only need to retorque them if its tuned by Stoney at velocity. I mean he can do it all from tuning and blowing motors all in one package. For a good price too.

it does NOT take a minute to retorque them. LOL.

it's a pain to take everything apart.
