Default dissapponted dyno

139hp and 109trq! something is really wrong, dynoe showed me running very lean at 15-16 only when boost hits around 3500rpm+ and is set at 4psi.

1. what can cause me to run lean? i have the greddy "blue box" and wiring seems to be correct and have new 310cc's.

2. even when not at boost shouldn't i be getting more hp and trq because i have a b16A sirII rated at 170hp and more trq then 109? Or is it because im running too lean and detonating when boosting be the cause of low numbers? I just thought i get higher numbers even when its not boosting atleast close to stock numbers.

3.fuel pressure gauge shows 38lbs and when boost hits it jumps around irractically he says its because my fuel pump isn't pump enuff fuel, but i have a gsr fuel pump.

4. Can i have a bad 02 sensor? a/f shows me running rich but dyno shows lean

5. I plan on dishing the "blue box" for a VAFC, can anyone tell me what is needed to replace the blue box? oyeah and i was running this for about a week before the dyno i was detonating with 2 runs could i have damaged the motor?

sounds like u need a new fuel pump. that gsr one is alright but still doesnt pump enough for that motor. get a walbro or something with a high flow.

your not getting enough fuel under boost, do a tune up and double check your connections..

You have to understand that the 170 hp is at the flywheel not the wheels (more like 140 at the wheels) and that hp rating is peak, not at 3k rpm. and 109 lbs of tq is normal for (flywheel) for a b16a....

but yes at 4psi you should be at about 175whp and 130lbs of tq

When you say "plug" are you referring to spark plug or 02 sensor plug?

Okay good to knoe that those numbers im getting are close to stock numbers at the wheels (seems kinda low)

what would you guys/laddies suggest i do if i decide to dish the greddy blue box?
I'm thinking of VAFC and Vortec FMU 12:1, my question is with that combination would i be pumping in too much fuel and run too rich? should i use a fuel pressure regulator also? This is considering i can't enuff fuel with the blue box

Figure out how much money you have to spend and then start doing some research, you have several options available to you depending on your budget

i wouldnt run off and get a new fuel pump just yet. My stock fuel pump in my LS integra handled over 270 whp w/ rc 550s for 1.5 years of boost.

Id say its the greddy blue box, id try going w/ other fuel management. if you can afford a standalone, id strongly suggest it.

Also, If you are nervous about your motor being damaged, Do a compression check.

hey my O2 was going out on me and i was running lean as hell. replaced it and and now i'm running somewhat rich due to the 255lph fuel pump but i'll have my injectors tuned for that later this week. so check your O2 as well...oh and another thing...check your wiring where you soldered/crimped the blue box to the ecu plugs. my buddy was running lean as hell because his blue box wiring wasn't making full contact with the ecu wiring causing the ecu to receive different voltages.

GSR fuel pump isn't that much better than what you had originally. It probably is the Blue Box i'd buy a Walbro FP anyway you'll eventually need it.goto http://www.autoperformanceengineering.com/
cheap walbros

ill rewired the whole thing over again, and change my 02 sensor and throw in the pump when it gets in, the problem is i don't get any CEL's.

well if i do decide to ditch the blue box what would you suggest? i check on hondata and price for everything with tunning was 1grand, i don't see going that route if i'm just aiming for 220hp to max 250 daily driven any suggestions besides hondata?

just get a Fuel Pump $90, AFC $200-250, DSM 440-450cc injectors $40-100, 91 and earlier civic, accord, prelude?? resistor box $free-30. you'll be much better off and you'll hit that 220-250 mark easily.
