Ohhhhh man, you may have just opened a can of worms. In the end, both will do just fine.

Equally as important is who installs the sleeves, the quality of the machine work and the final bore and hone is critical. This is always controlled when you use BENSON because he's the only one that installs his sleeves.

We use/race/sell BENSON

Whichever ones are cheaper. lol.

If there isn't any price difference, I'd go with Benson's just because of personal preferance.

pick which ever is cheaper in the end. benson uses darton sleeves so the qualitly is pretty much the same.

if you choose the darton MID sleeves just make sure whoever is installing them is qualified and knows what they are doing.

I have a Benson's block and love it also my bro has a darton block and loves it. the only difference i see is that darton dose not hone out your block when there done sleeving. So both of them are a great choice in my book. Earl has the hook up with Benson to earl

I can't stress to you how true that is. Make sure whichever company you go with, you let them do the install. Both Darton and Benson are excellent, just be sure to let them do the install.

actually expletive sleeving you might as well jump on the new bandwagon and just keep stock sleeves and just do pistons and rods. stock sleeves are the hottness

Darton MID kit in Jason Hunt/Charlie Schafer's Honda Coupe which Brian Ballard used to win NOPI Turbo4. Two seasons on block/sleeves. Just reassembled for this coming season. Zero cooling/head gasket issues. And it makes plenty of power.

Exactly, the MID's are not easy to install "correctly" and do not compare to the other sleeve-styles.

The MID's seal with an O-ring, right Jim?
I would think the receiver groove would not let you bore a MID sleeve as large as other style sleeves as you could bore into that groove and break/weaken the sleeve.
